Starting today, Google will dock points off websites SEO scores if they’re not mobile-responsive in design. Load up your website on your smartphone, and if it doesn’t load up as a single-column, easy to browse website, and it just looks like a zoomed out version of what you see on your desktop, then your site likely isn’t mobile responsive, like 40% of all websites out there on the web.
This is a big deal because 65% of the searches in the US go through Google’s search engine. Moreover, it’s likely the other major search engines will follow suit.
